Implant dentistry is a state of mind.

It reminded me of this morning.
I woke up without much desire to climb. The body felt heavy, the mind even heavier. But I showed up anyway.
At the wall, I warmed up: a 6A, a 6B… and then there it was — my arch-rival: the 6C.
I started slow. Hesitant.
First move — my foot slipped. I dropped.
And the question comes naturally: why did the foot slip?
Was it physical weakness? Fatigue? Lack of strength?
Maybe. But most of the time… it’s not that.
It’s psychological.
I paused. Reset. And told myself:
“I’m going to do this. No matter what.”
Something shifted.
The mindset changed.
And suddenly, the body followed.
I attacked the route again.
The foot didn’t slip. The muscles were there. Everything was there.
At the crux, high up, no magnesium, no margin for doubt… I said it again:
“I will do this.”
Both hands locked.
A small dynamic move.
The foot stuck perfectly.
Rotation. Control.
And instead of going to the obvious hold on the right… I reached higher.
No hesitation. No failure.
And then — the top.
This is implant dentistry.
When you enter a surgery, you either go in with:
“I have to do this…”
or
“I’m going to do this.”
Completely different outcomes.
There are no easy surgeries.
There are no easy cases.
There is focus.
There is intent.
There is commitment.
And when those align —
you succeed.
In surgery.
In life.
And sometimes… on a 6C.
Have a nice Sunday !!! Spring is here !!
